Allan Hyde, born December 20, 1989 in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a Danish television, theater and film actor who is best known for the role he played as Godric on the HBO original series True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "Never Let Me Go" in the series' second season, Allan is a recurring guest starring actor through the series' second, third, fourth, and fifth seasons. He meets an untimely demise in the Season 2 episode "I Will Rise Up", but reappears throughout several flashbacks through subsequent seasons, and was last seen in the Season 5 episode "Gone, Gone, Gone".

He is a singer on one track of the international versions of the soundtrack Camp Rock. He has also provided the voice dubbing for Ron Weasley in the Danish releases of the Harry Potter films.[1]

In 2009, he was cast in the critically acclaimed HBO series True Blood, as the 2000 year old vampire, Godric. His character appears in four episodes in the second season. The character proved to be popular with viewers and with creator, Alan Ball. Ball hinted at the possible return of Allan Hyde as Godric in flashbacks in a recent interview.[2] Hyde recently confirmed this himself on his Twitter account.
