Ashley Hinshaw, born December 11, 1988 in La Porte, Indiana, is an American actress who plays the role of Brigette Stackhouse on the HBO original series True Blood. Making her debut on the episode "May Be the Last Time" in the series' seventh season, Ashley was a guest starring actress who plays the role of a microbiologist. Traveling from Alaska to Bon Temps, Louisiana with former boyfriend Hoyt Fortenberry, Ashley winds up falling in love with local deputy, Jason Stackhouse. Playing a recurring role through the same season, she is shown to have gotten married to Jason, and the two possess three small children. Ashley was last seen in the series' finale episode, "Thank You", in the series' seventh, and final, season.
