Brigette Stackhouse was a microbiologist on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actress Ashley Hinshaw, Brigette makes her debut on the episode "May Be the Last Time" in the series seventh season. Traveling from Alaska to Bon Temps, Louisiana with former boyfriend Hoyt Fortenberry, Brigette winds up falling in love with local deputy, Jason Stackhouse. Playing a recurring role through the same season, she is shown to have gotten married to Jason, and the two have three small children. Brigette was last seen in the series' finale episode, "Thank You", in the series' seventh, and final, season.

Brigette arrives in Bon Temps, Louisiana with Hoyt, to tend to his mother, Maxine's funeral plans. ("May Be the Last Time")

Jessica shows up at the Fortenberry home to speak to Hoyt. Brigette, already jealous and assuming that Hoyt knows Jessica, calls Jason upset when Hoyt chooses Jessica over her. She stays the night at Jason's house. They spend the night laying and talking in bed. ("Love is to Die")
"Thank You"[]
Brigette is shown to have gotten married to, and is now living with, her current husband, Bon Temps deputy Jason Stackhouse. The two of them have three young daughters, and the five of them attend the communal 2014 Thanksgiving Day banquet held at sister Sookie's house. ("Thank You")
