Corbett Stackhouse was the son of Earl and Adele Stackhouse, older brother of Linda Stackhouse, uncle of Hadley Hale and father of Sookie and Jason Stackhouse. He died in a flash flood sometime in the 1990s along with his wife.

Season 3

In the episode "Hitting the Ground", Claudine Crane told Sookie that "it wasn't the water that killed them" when referring to Sookie's parents having been killed in a flash flood. What she meant by this is as yet unknown, however could refer to the books, in which Corbett and his wife were killed by Water Fairies.
