Biography

Background

Doug is a construction manager, working at Herveaux Contracting.

Season 4

"And When I Die"

Doug calls his boss, Alcide Herveaux after finding a big hole in the parking garage. Doug mentions he cannot remember when it happened, which leads Alcide to assume he has been glamoured by a vampire. He finds a silver chain next to Russel's opened and empty tomb. ("And When I Die")

Season 5

"Let's Boot and Rally"

Doug is visited by Alcide, Sookie, Bill and Eric whom are trying to find out more about the release of Russell Edgington. Sookie is able to use her telepathic abilities to "deglamour" Doug, revealing that a female member of The Authority is responsible for Russell's release. Sookie is also able to pinpoint the location of where Russell is hidden which leads the group to an abandoned hospital. While searching the interior of the hospital, the group find a room filled with alive humans--intended to restore Russell. ("Let's Boot and Rally")

"Hopeless"

Doug and the other humans that were found within the hospital are escorted onto a bus by Kibwe Akinjide after Russell is taken into custody. Instead of fulfilling his promise however, Kibwe slaughters all the witnesses, including Doug. ("Hopeless")
