Emma Garza is a recurring character in the fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons. She is played by co-star Chloe Noelle and debuts in the episode "I'm Alive and on Fire". She is the daughter of Luna Garza and Marcus Bozeman. She grew into a werewolf in "Authority Always Wins".

HistoryEdit

Emma is first seen as Sam Merlotte pays a surprise visit to Luna's house. He doesn't act as though it bothers him to find out that Luna has a child. In fact he strikes up a conversation with her and even offers to play dolls. Emma is taken by Sam and sits on the sofa between him and Luna. After Emma goes to bed Luna Garza tells Sam that Marcus Bozeman, Emma's father is a werewolf and that she thinks he sometimes watches their house. Luna is very devoted to Emma and tells Sam that she wants to raise her child right. ("I'm Alive and on Fire")

"Spellbound"Edit

After throwing his brother out, Sam, tries to make things better with Luna. He is met at the door by Luna and Emma. Emma is just as pleased to see Sam as she was before, and immediately pulls him into the house to play dolls again. ("Spellbound")

Later that evening Emma's father Marcus Bozeman shows up. Emma acts afraid of him and clings to her mother. He and Luna exchange a few words about Sam being there. Luna takes Emma to bed. Sam tries to make conversation with Marcus, but he cuts Sam off, and tells him that he just pissed on the wrong boots, then storms out the door. ("Spellbound")

"Let's Get Out of Here"Edit

Emma enjoys a camping trip with Luna and Sam. Emma say she grows up to be a shifter and that she wants to be able to shift into a bunny. Sam shifts into a rabbit, delighting her. ("Let's Get Out of Here")

"Soul of Fire"Edit

Marcus snatches Emma from school and takes her to Alcide Herveaux's house. He leaves her alone while he sleeps with Alcide's girlfriend Debbie Pelt. Emma calls Luna and tells her where she is. Luna, Sam and Alcide come to collect her. Luna takes Emma outside while Sam and Alcide confront Marcus. Marcus and Sam fight and Marcus tries to shoot Sam. Alcide saves Sam's life but kills Marcus. ("Soul of Fire")

Season 5 Edit

"Turn! Turn! Turn!"Edit

Sam is targeted by Marcus's pack after Marcus goes missing. Sam comes to the house and asks to speak to Luna alone. He warns Luna that she and Emma may be in danger. Luna later leaves Emma alone at home to go after Sam with Alcide, rescuing him from the pack. ("Turn! Turn! Turn!")

"Authority Always Wins"Edit

Emma's grandmother Martha Bozeman visits Luna begging for access to Emma. Luna refuses and is dismayed when she finds that Emma has transformed into a wolf pup for the first time. ("Authority Always Wins")

"Let's Boot and Rally"Edit

Shortly after hearing gunshots outside of her house Emma runs outside to see Sam and her mom have been shot by a couple of men wearing masks. The men begin to shoot at Emma and Sam yells at Emma to run. Emma then shifts and escapes into the brush. ("Let's Boot and Rally")

"Hopeless"Edit

As Luna and Sam are wheeled into the hospital—both alive—Emma runs to a house as a wolf pup and yelps at the door. Martha Bozeman, her werewolf grandmother, opens it and takes her in.

At the hospital Sam goes to find Luna, right at the moment that Martha brings Emma to see Luna. Martha tells Luna he doesn't want to compete with her or take Emma away from Luna, but she just wants to be in her granddaughter's life. Luna tells Martha that someone is hunting shifters, and asks if she'll keep Emma safe. Martha agrees. ("Hopeless")

"In the Beginning"Edit

JD is in the Barn and tells the pack about his vampire friend (Russell). JD then tells the pack that Russell told him an End of Days is coming. JD thinks they should join the vampires and the only way he'll know he can trust them is if they drink Russell's blood. First one wolf female gives in and says okay drinking a vial. Then Emma says she's scared and J.d turns to her saying the blood will make her a big strong wolf. JD hands Emma vampire blood just as Martha walks in the room. She says "I don't know you anymore" and takes Emma out of there. ("In the Beginning")

"Everybody Wants to Rule the World"Edit

Emma is taken by force from Martha by Russell Edgington, as a pet for his partner Steve Newlin. ("Everybody Wants to Rule the World")

"Gone, Gone, Gone"Edit

Sam and Luna later attempt to get Emma back. When Steve Newlin enters, an assistant tells him that his "pet" Emma, is giving them trouble. She brings her in and he yells that "Daddy doesn't like it when you are human." She says she wants her mommy. He scolds and threatens her and sends her back. ("Gone, Gone, Gone")

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Emma is a werewolf. So far she is not strong as a standard wolf or a vampire, but she does have control over her shifting.

Trivia Edit

Although Emma is shown as a wolf at the end of "Authority Always Wins", it could be possible that she shape shifted into a wolf pup (similar to how Sam shifted into a puppy when he was younger.)
