George Gerdes, born February 23, 1948 in New York, is an American actor who plays the role of Sid Matt Lancaster on the HBO original series True Blood. Playing the role of a lawyer who pays a visit to Sookie Stackhouse, George appears only on the episode "Nothing but the Blood" at the beginning of the series' second season.
