Greta Van Susteren, born June 11, 1954, is an American journalist and television personality mentioned on the HBO original series True Blood. Mentioned on the episode "Burning Down the House" in the series' fourth season, American Vampire League spokeswoman Nan Flanagan was set to appear on Greta's television program, but says she has to cancel her upcoming appearance due to events that were currently happening in Louisiana.

Formerly appearing on the Fox News Channel, Greta hosted a television current affairs program entitled On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren. As of September 2017, Greta no longer works for Fox News. [1]
