"You look like dinner."
―Hollis, to Sookie[src]

Hollis is the werewolf owner and bouncer of Lou Pine's, a popular werewolf hangout on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actor Vincent Ward, Hollis only appears on the episode "It Hurts Me Too" in the series' third season.

Biography[]

Season 3[]

"It Hurts Me Too"[]

Hollis is a werewolf and in charge/owner of the Werewolf bar Lou Pine's. He is first seen when Alcide Herveaux and Sookie Stackhouse approach to enter inside. He’s a nice guy who knows Alcide well (though he’s suspicious of Alcide’s guest, Sookie). When Alcide is getting the crap beaten out of him, Hollis jumps to his defense. He also delivers some bad news to Alcide about his fiancee, Debbie Pelt. ("It Hurts Me Too")

Trivia[]

  • Lou Pine's, the bar in which Vincent's character owns, is a pun on the word "Lupine" which is a scientific classification of wolf. Because Vincent's character plays a character who can shift into wolf form, it is a fitting tribute.
