Margaret Compton (née Laudermilk) is a minor character on the HBO original series True Blood. Portrayed by Rebecca Klingler, she appears in the episode "May Be the Last Time" in Season 7 as the mother of Bill Compton.
Biography[]
Little is known about Margaret, aside from the fact that her words of advice about manners continue to resonate in her 173-year-old son Bill Compton. Examples of this are not arriving at a gathering empty-handed. ("Lost Cause")
Margaret appears in Season 7 during a dream flashback. She is seen strolling arm-in-arm with her husband, William Compton Sr. with young William next to her. She and her husband encouraged their son to court Caroline Shelby, their rich new neighbors' daughter. ("May Be the Last Time")
