Michael Bofshever, born October 12, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, in an American actor who plays the role of Orry Dawson on the HBO original series True Blood. Making his debut on the episode "You'll Be the Death of Me" at the end of the series' first season, Michael plays a member and representative of the Fellowship of the Sun, and one of Rev. Theodore Newlin's closest advisers. He was last seen on the subsequent episode, "Nothing but the Blood" in the series' second season.
