Gabe was the trainer for the Soldiers of the Sun on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American co-starring actor Greg Collins, Gabe makes his debut on the episode "Never Let Me Go" in the series' second season. A member of the Soldiers of the Sun, a paramilitary branch of the Fellowship of the Sun, Gabe serves as a secondary antagonist through the series' second season, was a recurring character through the same season, and met an untimely demise in the Season 2 episode "Timebomb".

PersonalityEdit

BiographyEdit

BackgroundEdit

Season 2Edit

"Never Let Me Go"Edit

At the Light of Day Institute, potential "Soldiers of the Sun" are put through a rigorous and intense military-style training session which Gabe is the instructor of. He is particularly harsh on Luke McDonald, who struggles through parts of the training course. Jason Stackhouse helps Luke get through it, and Gabe hails him as a real soldier of God. ("Never Let Me Go")

"Hard-Hearted Hannah"Edit

When Sookie Stackhouse and Hugo Ayres attempt to infiltrate the Fellowship of the Sun church, they are quickly found out. Reverend Steve Newlin and Gabe drag Sookie and Hugo into the basement and hold them captive. ("Hard-Hearted Hannah")

"Release Me"Edit

After discovering that Jason is in fact Sookie's brother, Steve sends Gabe out after him, believing him to be a vampire sympathizer. Gabe finds Jason and attempts to kill him, but, after a few unsavory comments about Sookie, Gabe is overpowered and beaten by Jason, who quickly leaves to go find his sister. Angered by his defeat, Gabe bursts into the basement where Sookie is being held and assaults Hugo, despite the fact that Hugo had been secretly working for the Fellowship of the Sun. Gabe then attempts to rape Sookie before being stopped by the arriving Godric. ("Release Me")

"Timebomb"Edit

Gabe begs Godric to spare his life, but his pleas fall on deaf ears as Godric easily snaps his neck, killing him instantly. ("Timebomb")
