Gus was a werewolf biker on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actor Don Swayze, Gus makes his debut on the episode "Bad Blood", at the beginning of the series' third season. A member of Cooter's pack, and a guard for Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Louisiana, he was killed by Jessica Hamby after attempting to capture Sookie Stackhouse with Russell and Debbie Pelt. Playing a recurring role through the same season, Gus was a minor antagonist who met an untimely demise in the Season 3 episode "Night on the Sun".

Season 3Edit

"Bad Blood"Edit

Gus was one of the werewolves that abducted Bill Compton and fed on his blood during their travel to Mississippi. When Bill escaped from the car, Gus survived the accident that ensued; but was not one of the wolves that chased him the following night. ("Bad Blood")

"9 Crimes"Edit

When Sookie and Alcide visit Lou Pine's bar, they come across Gus who is also there. He attempted to rape Sookie, but Alcide jumped in before he could and rescued her from him. ("It Hurts Me Too") The next evening when Sookie returned to the bar for Debbie's engagement party, he did not recognize Sookie and started serving her shots. ("9 Crimes")

"I Got a Right to Sing the Blues"Edit

As one of Cooter's men, he was a day guard at Russell Edgington's house and guarded the room where Sookie was being held. When Tara Thornton came to rescue Sookie, he let her in the room after being deceived where the two women quickly knocked him out. ("I Got a Right to Sing the Blues")

"Night on the Sun"Edit

He was one of the werewolves that accompanied Russell Edgington and Debbie when they went to Bon Temps chasing after Sookie. He was beaten by Jessica until he ran outside, where Russell captured and injured Jessica.

After Jessica was released by Russell, she quickly ran away and Gus immediately went after her; which would prove to be a fatal mistake as even though Jessica was injured, she overcame Gus and fed on him. ("Night on the Sun")

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Wolf Form

Gus was a werewolf. He was more powerful than most humans, but far weaker than a vampire of a moderate age; even a young vampire like Jessica Hamby. In his wolf form he had gray fur and amber eyes.
