Katherine Helmond, (born July 5, 1929 in Galveston, Texas) is an American actress who plays the role of Caroline Bellefleur on the HBO original series True Blood. Playing the role of the grandmother of Terry, Andy and Portia Bellefleur, Katherine is the oldest living member of the Bellefleur family. Replaced by American guest starring actress Helen Slayton-Hughes in the series' sixth season, Katherine is a guest starring actress who appears only on the episode "I'm Alive and on Fire" in the series' fourth season.
