Maudette Pickens was a Bon Temps local who had a sexual encounter with Jason Stackhouse. She was the second victim of the Bon Temps killer. According to the books, she was sexually promiscuous, which Jason Stackhouse attributed to her loneliness. She is Sookie Stackhouse's age and worked at a gas station in Bon Temps.

Maudette was into videotaping her kinky sexual encounters. After having sex with the vampire Liam and videotaping it, she offered to show it to Jason during their hook-up. She was found the next day strangled to death in her apartment and accused of being a Fangbanger. ("Strange Love")
