Michael Raymond-James, is an American actor. He has starred in Craig Brewer's Black Snake Moan. He has also guest starred in such series as CSI, Medium, Boston Legal and ER. He is probably best known for playing René Lenier/Drew Marshall in the first season of HBO's series True Blood.

Michael started out doing theater and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, with George Loros, Jeffery Horn and Robert Castle.
