Sookie Stackhouse is a human-fairy hybrid, introduced in the first season of True Blood. Sookie is the most prominent main character on the show and is played by Academy Award-winning Canadian Kiwi actress, Anna Paquin, in her Golden Globe-winning television role. Sookie also appears in the The Sookie Stackhouse Novels as the titular character and narrator of the stories.

Contents

Physical characteristicsEdit

In the television series, Canadian-born New Zealand actress Anna Paquin portrays Sookie. In order to portray a Sookie closer to the books, Paquin had to undergo a number of cosmetic changes. Paquin, a natural brunette with fair skin, had to dye her hair blonde for the role so that her hair looked like it would be naturally blonde. Paquin also has to use tanning lotion regularly on her skin so that she has Sookie's sunkissed skin tone. Paquin still differs physically from the book Sookie as she has brown eyes instead of blue and is noticeably slimmer than her book counterpart.

The actress has stated that she wears "a good bra" when portraying Sookie so that she can live up to the book counterpart's famously large bosom. Anna is also required to speak in the Southern Louisiana dialect when portraying Sookie.

Early life Edit

Sookie Stackhouse was born on May 24, 1982 to Corbett and Michelle Stackhouse 25 years before the time line of Dead Until Dark and 'Strange Love' in Bon Temps, Louisiana. She has a brother named Jason, who is older than her by three years. At a young age, Sookie discovered that she was capable of hearing thoughts of people around her. This frightened her parents, especially her mother who put her through the mental health system.

Doctors were baffled by Sookie's ability to read minds and couldn't find a remedy to cure her telepathy. Rather than commit Sookie to a psychiatric hospital, her parents decided to ignore the telepathy and convinced themselves that Sookie just had really good observation skills.

At the age of only 7 years old, Sookie's parents were killed in a flash flood. Sookie and Jason were both left in the care of their grandparents Earl and Adele Stackhouse, Corbett's parents. At some stage of Sookie's childhood, Francis died. Sookie was sexually molested by her Great Uncle Bartlett, Adele's brother. She feared every visit from Bartlett, being able to hear his creepy thoughts, and hid from him on one visit. When her grandmother found her, Sookie revealed her molestation and Adele cast Bartlett out of her life.

Bartlett had also abused Adele's daughter, Linda Stackhouse (Sookie's aunt, Corbett's sister) many years ago and, although she never left Bartlett alone around Linda again, she didn't take action until he did the same to Sookie.

Sookie found growing up difficult. Due to being able to hear everyone's thoughts at school, Sookie was not able to concentrate properly and many of her teachers determined she was slow. Fellow students thought the same and many of the Bon Temps locals were frightened by her or looked down on her supposed lack of intelligence. Sookie had a lonely life growing up, but had a friend in Tara Thornton. Tara and Sookie were friends because Tara grew up with an alcoholic mother, Lettie Mae and was shunned by her classmates for it.

Tara would often stay over at Sookie's during her mother's alcoholic rages.

Season 1 Edit

Sookie after her beating from the Rattrays
Badspeller11Added by Badspeller11

Sookie met Bill Compton, the first vampire to visit Bon Temps since vampires 'came out of the coffin'. She was instantly drawn to Bill, as he was to her. After Bill was nearly killed by the Rattrays and saved by Sookie, the two quickly bonded over their curiosity about each other. Bill quickly realized that Sookie was more than human and Sookie could not hear Bill's thoughts because he was a vampire. The following night, the Rattrays took revenge on Sookie.

Bill intervened, saving her life and incapacitating the Rattrays. Sookie was badly injured and near death, so Bill forced her to drink his blood. After she was healed she began to have erotic dreams about Bill, a side effect of consuming his blood. ("Strange Love") ("The First Taste")

Sookie continued to talk to Bill and began to help him find contractors to make the necessary repairs on his house. On the night she brought the contractors' numbers to Bill, she was confronted by three vampires: Malcolm, Liam and Diane. The vampires terrorized her and tried to bite her until Bill declared 'Sookie is mine'. After this attack, Sookie was frightened and worried about her safety, finally deciding not to speak to Bill any more. ("Mine")

When she told her gran about her decision to cut ties with Bill, her gran quickly pointed out that Sookie was not truly angry at Bill, but afraid because, for the first time in Sookie's life, she could not tell what some one thought of her. Sookie and Bill reconnected. ("Escape from Dragon House")

Sam Merlotte, who had always had a romantic interest in Sookie, took advantage of her. Bill halted their relationship by asking Sookie out on a date. He took her to the Descendants of the Glorious Dead meeting at the Bon Temps church, then out for pie where he kissed her. After Sam yelled at Sookie for dating a vampire, Sookie took a cab home, getting home later than planned. She arrived home and saw blood on the kitchen floor. Sookie turned on the light and saw her grandmother dead in the kitchen, the victim of a violent knife attack. ("Sparks Fly Out")

Grieving for her grandmother, Sookie was unable to keep the thoughts of others out of her head, forcing her to hear how the whole town thinks that it's her fault her Gran died, and how they think Bill killed her. After the funeral and accepting her Gran's death, Sookie sought comfort in Bill and the two made love for the first time ("Cold Ground").

After their night together, Sookie felt more able to cope with the loss of her grandmother, knowing that Bill cared for her. However the rest of the town was not happy for Sookie, calling her a whore and fangbanger. She was also still angry and upset with her brother. While working at Merlotte's that night, Liam, Malcolm and Diane visited Sookie knowing Bill would sense her fear and come running to her rescue. They then proceeded to leave with Bill. Sookie was left at Merlotte's, distraught and worried.

After spending all night worrying about Bill, Sookie's worst fear was realized after four bodies, all unidentifiable were pulled out of Liam, Malcolm and Diane's burned down nest. ("Burning House of Love")

It was soon discovered that it was not Bill who was pulled out of the nest, but Neil, a local man Sookie saw at Fangtasia. Bill had gotten Sookie's warnings and slept in the ground to protect himself. The two were reunited in the graveyard that night and had sex on top of Bill's grave.

Shortly after, Bill is ordered by Eric, the vampire Sheriff of Area 5, to bring Sookie to Fangtasia because of the mysterious theft of $60,000. Sookie is disgusted but agrees, though not before making a deal with Eric: Eric must promise not to harm the thief and bring him/her to the law and she'll agree to work for him anytime he wants. The Viking accepts and Sookie uses her telepathy on several humans before she sniffs out the thief, revealed to be the bartender, Longshadow. In an attempt to save Sookie, Bill stakes Longshadow, leaving nothing but blood, his clothes, and red goo. Though he convinces Sookie that everything will be fine, this later becomes an action that Bill must pay for.

Once Bill is called away to attend the tribunal, he appoints Sam to watch over Sookie. The same night, Sookie invites Dean/Sam into the bed and wakes up to see a naked Sam replacing the dog. This is where Sam reveals his secret as a shapeshifter and Sookie grows angry that he refused to tell her. This anger is dropped when Sookie is ambushed at Merlotte's during Arlene's party and he is there to provide her comfort and safety. They then begin to grow closer until Bill finds them kissing. The vampire attacks Sam but Sookie intervenes and forces Bill to leave.

Sam and Sookie do some investigating to find the murderer as Sookie received some images from the killer's mind. They find out that the woman in the image is Cindy Marshall, a deceased fangbanger with a brother who disappeared shortly after her death. ("You'll Be the Death of Me") And after the death of Amy Burley, Jason willingly confesses to the murders (except Gran's) and Sookie is certain to find the real killer.

Listening to the vicious thoughts of the bar patrons, Sookie decides to leave but is having car trouble. Rene lends a hand but is unsuccessful, though he really sabotages her car, and gives Sookie a ride home. Sookie confirms the rumor to Rene that she is telepathic and realizes that he is trying to think of nothing (literally chanting: Don't think about it, don't think about it, don't think about it). Sookie soon learns that Rene is in fact the killer and hits him with her gun before racing into the woods, with Rene in hot pursuit. Sookie is able to see the murders that Rene/Drew committed and hides in the graveyard but is assaulted by Rene. Sam comes to the rescue as a dog and distracts Sookie while Bill walks out in daylight after sensing his girlfriend's fear. Sookie finds the strength to regain consciousness and decapitates Rene with a shovel, marking the end of Rene Lenier. Once Bill is healed, he returns to Sookie and they reunite and all is forgiven.

Sookie helps Bill.

Two weeks later, Andy is spiteful toward the Stackhouse family because he was embarrassed after making the wrong arrest. The detective is drunk and Sookie shows compassion to him and they, along with Tara, go out to find his car. When the spot he claims he parked it is empty, he assumes that someone stole the car but Tara finds it. The trio walk over to the car and Andy opens the door, revealing an African-American's foot. Andy says that it's not his and Sookie and Tara scream.

Season 2 Edit

Sookie, Tara and Sam find Miss Jeanette´s body.
Sfinn85Added by Sfinn85

Taking off exactly where "You'll Be the Death of Me" left off, the body is revealed to be the corpse of Miss Jeanette, the fake exorcist that tricked both Lettie Mae and Tara in Season 1.

The corpse, initially believed to be Lafayette (who's been missing for 2 weeks) had her heart cut out. Sookie discovers that Tara is keeping Miss Jeanette's deception from Kenya and convinces her to inform them. Sookie comes to Bill for comfort but instead finds out about Jessica, Bill's punishment for killing Longshadow. The teenager hates living with Bill and he orders her to go and Sookie does the same, angered that Bill didn't share this information with her.

Later the next day, Sookie is informed that her great-Uncle Bartlett has "passed away" (although the audience knows that it was Bill who murdered him in "Burning House of Love") but Sookie has a hunch that Bill had something to do with it. She confronts her vampire boyfriend and he confirms her suspicion before the two make up.

Sookie is introduced to Maryann by Tara and hears creepy chanting from reading the woman's mind. She asks Tara to move in with her. Sookie meets up with a crying Jessica and takes her to see her parents so she can say goodbye. Things don't go according to plan and Jessica is about to unleash her anger out on her father before Bill comes in.

Sookie had a fight with Bill after he discovered that she disobeyed him when she took Jessica to see her family. She was attacked by an unseen force and was badly injured. While being treated for her injuries by Dr. Ludwig at Fangtasia, Sookie discovered that Eric had been keeping Lafayette Reynolds prisoner in Fangtasia's basement and demanded that Eric release him. Eric would only do so if she infiltrated the Fellowship of the Sun church in order to find Godric. ("Scratches")

RoR-ElAdded by RoR-El

Bill, Sookie and Jessica traveled to Dallas, Texas where they were later joined by Eric. Sookie was teamed together with Hugo, who was the lover of Isabel, Godric's second-in-command. They visited the church but were taken hostage in the basement by the Newlins, who later discovered why Hugo and Sookie were there. Sookie grabbed Hugo's arm and had a vision. She saw that Hugo was the one who betrayed Godric. It emerged that Hugo was a spy for the Fellowship. Gabe, a trainer for the Light of Day Institute soldiers, knocked Hugo out then attempted to rape Sookie. Fortunately, she was saved by Godric. ("Hard-Hearted Hannah") ("Release Me")

During a lock-in at the church, Eric offered himself up in exchange for Godric and Sookie's freedom. Steve Newlin was soon confronted by Jason and the rest of the Dallas vampires, who were responsible for killing his father the previous year. Godric managed to defuse the situation and forgave Steve for his actions. Sookie, Bill, Eric and the rest of the Dallas vampires retreated to Godric's nest. ("Timebomb")

When a bomb was detonated at Godric's nest by Luke McDonald, in retaliation for the occurrence at the lock-in, Eric saved Sookie by covering her with his body and taking silver shrapnel in the chest. Sookie was unimpressed, but Eric told her he could not heal because of the silver and asked her to suck the bullets out with her mouth. She did so but, when Bill came back and asked her what she was doing, she learned that Eric had tricked her into taking some of his blood.

Now Eric had access to her feelings, similar to the bond she shared with Bill and she began having sexual dreams about him.

Although Eric demanded to stay with his maker to their deaths, Godric commanded him to seek shelter from the sun. It was Sookie who stayed by Godric's side in the end. They talked briefly about God and what awaited Godric after his death, then Godric said the sun was starting to rise. Sookie asked if he was afraid, and Godric said no. When she began to cry, he was amazed that the thought of his death would make a human cry and said, after 2,000 years on this earth, he could still be surprised.

He asked Sookie to watch out for Eric after he was gone. Sookie reluctantly agreed. Godric met the sun and burst into a beautiful blue flame. ("I Will Rise Up")

Afterward, Sookie came home to find Maryann Forrester living in her home and the town in complete disarray. When Sookie confronted Maryann, she managed to conduct an electrical current with her hand but could not understand how she did this. She, Bill, Lafayette and Lettie Mae orchested a plan to release Tara from Maryann´s influence and after achieving their goal, Bill leaves Sookie in order to find a way to stop the creature.

Shortly after, Sookie was taken hostage by Maryann and her followers but, after Sam's "sacrfice", she managed to knock down Maryann's altar and destroyed her egg. Maryann then proceeded to chase her through the woods, but Sam saved Sookie by killing the maenad.

Later on, Bill proposed to Sookie and, after some hesitation, she accepted. While making her decision in the bathroom, an unseen individual kidnapped Bill. When Sookie returned, she found the table a mess and Bill gone. ("New World in My View") ("Beyond Here Lies Nothin'")

Season 3 Edit

After Bill's disappearance Sookie tries to convince the police that Bill has actually been kidnapped, and hasn't just run off because she turned him down when he proposed. When this fails she turns to Eric for help. ("Bad Blood") Eric tells Sookie about the werewolves. Sookie gets teary eyed, talking about Bill being missing, and tells Eric he owes her after she risked her life to help him find Godric. Later that day Eric arrives at her house, and believing she is in danger ask for permission to be let inside the house.

While talking on Sookie's porch Eric senses something, and grabs Sookie forcing her to invite him in. Eric speeds into her home and sees a wolf growling at him. Eric succeeds in capturing the werewolf, and before he is killed, Sookie hears that he came from Jackson. ("Beautifully Broken")

Against Eric's warnings, Sookie decides to go to Mississippi in search for Bill. Before she leaves she pays for Eggs Talley's funeral and reconciles with Tara, with which she had an argument following Eggs' death. The next day, while cleaning her wrecked house a bearded man appears, frightening her until he explains that Eric sent him to protect her. He introduces himself as Alcide Herveaux and explains over tea that a dangerous gang of werewolves has taken root in Jackson - and his girlfriend recently left him for its leader.

Alcide brings Sookie back to Jackson and takes her to the werewolf bar Lou Pine's, where she manages to pick up a lead from the thoughts of a biker named Gus. But when the werewolf tries to force himself on Sookie, Alcide has to jump in and rescue her. ("It Hurts Me Too")

When Sookie tends Alcide's wounds after the fight at Lou Pine's, the two discuss Debbie. She then receives a call from Bill, who tell's her he has slept with Lorena Krasiki and dumps her via telephone. After Alcide comforts her Sookie, tells him she wants to go to Debbie's engagement party. Although Alcide refuses, she calls his sister to help her blend in at Lou Pine's. Sookie convinces Alcide to take her to the party by revealing that Debbie is addicted to "V" and that she is joining Cooter's pack.

At Lou Pine's, Sookie is accosted by Debbie, and Alcide comes to her rescue. When Cooter arrives Debbie tells him to let them see the ceremony. Sookie watches as Debbie is branded and a vampire comes to the stage and gives his blood to the pack as a reward for serving him. After Russell Edgington leaves, Coot takes the stage and all the werewolves in the bar start to shift. Alcide warns Sookie that they need to leave. ("9 Crimes")

After witnessing all the craziness at Lou Pine's the night before, Sookie wants Alcide to take her to meet Russell. Alcide refuses, but their squabbling is interrupted by Debbie, who has shown up to see Alcide. She says she's there to save his life. Sookie asks Debbie where Bill is, but she doesn't know, which Sookie learns when she reads her thoughts. After Debbie leaves, Sookie goes with Alcide to speak with his packmaster, but the packmaster says there's nothing they can do, that Russell is ancient and has had weres working for him for centuries.

After returning to Alcide's apartment, Bill shows up and tells her to leave Jackson, that she's in danger. Moments later, Coot and Russell show up with one person in their sights: Sookie. When Coot corners her, she displays the same blue light power she once used on Maryann, and throws him across the room. ("Trouble")

Sookie is taken by Russell along with Bill to his mansion. She watches as Bill makes a last attempt to save her but fails and is then taken to be executed by Lorena Krasiki. She pleads to Eric for help but he refuses her and is then taken to Russell who questions her about her origins and powers. She is taken upstairs and imprisoned in a guarded room. The next morning Tara arrives and helps Sookie knock the guard out. The two escape the mansion but worried about Bill and they split out.

While Tara looks for a car, Sookie goes to the shack where Bill is tortured. After she sees Coot and Debbie leave the shack she enters and finds Bill greatly wounded and drained of his blood. Before she can help him she is attacked by Lorena who overpowers her and sinks fangs in her neck. ("I Got a Right to Sing the Blues")

Lorena remarks that Sookie tastes good and it's no wonder Bill kept her to himself. In that moment, Bill uses the silver chain to hold Lorena down and tells Sookie to kill Lorena. Sookie is hesitant but finally stakes her and Lorena explodes all over Bill and he passes out again. With help from Alcide and Tara, Sookie get Bill ready to move but Debbie Pelt walks in with a hand gun and interrupts them. After Tara disarms her, Cooter walks in and then Alcide shoots and kill him.

Finally, they make their way to escape into a truck where Sookie tries to get Bill to wake up letting him feed of her, but things goes for worse as Bill loses control and almost kill Sookie. In the hospital, Sookie's body rejectst the blood transfusion and she went in coma.

Having no other choice, Eric kidnaps her to use her as bait and brings her to the dungeon until Russell makes his appearance and Eric offered him Sookie's blood to walk again by the sun. Once conned, Eric and Russell are bound together outside in the sun, preparing to meet the end together.("Fresh Blood")

Sookie however goes outside and drags both of them in, even feeding Eric some of her own blood. After babysitting a scorched Russell while the others slept, Sookie has had enough and heads home. She sees Alcide and tells him goodbye, giving him a long hug (which is seething with chemistry).

Seeing Tara and complimenting her hair, she says goodbye to her friend; not realizing that Tara may or may not be leaving town. Bill shows up, yet so does Eric...covered in cement. Eric begins to finally tell Sookie the truth about Bill. He tells her that Bill only came to Bon Temps to get information on her, all by the request of Queen Sophie-Anne. Sookie withdraws her invitation to Bill, and he is forced out the front door. Distraught, Sookie runs to the cemetery and kneels by Gran's tombstone to speak with her.

With the help of Lafayette, Jesus and Jason, Sookie learns that Marnie has gone insane and is now the one in charge of the situation. When she tries to help Tara and Holly escape the after the protection spell was broken, Marnie stops them and Sookie is transported into Moon Goddess with everyone else.("Burning Down the House")

Now trapped inside of the Moon Goddess Emporium with everyone else, Sookie tries to reason with Marnie and warns her about Bill's plan. However Marnie refuse to listen as her insanity start to grow and then kills one of the hostages. When Bill, Eric, Pam and Jessica show up to blow up the emporium, Jason tells them about Sookie being abducted and then Bill and Eric reconsider their plan, much to Pam's dismay. They try to reach an agreement with Marnie, who uses Sookie as a shield and orders them to kill each other in exchange for Sookie and the others. Bill and Eric accept her request but Pam refuses to let Eric die for Sookie and shoot Marnie’s protective barrier around the Moon Goddess Emporium with a bazooka, causing Eric to get furious that she endangered Sookie and sends her away.

Marnie convinces everyone that the vampires would not hesitate to kill them and that they need to strengthen the barrier, so they join forces again and begin to recite a spell, including Sookie. However this was only a trick made by Marnie to make the vampires walk to the barrier, which is revealed to be made of the sun’s power. Jason tries to stop them and then telepathically communicates with Sookie and urges her to stop. Overwhelmed by the situation, Sookie summons her powers and breaks the spell again, angering Marnie, who decides to kill her by burning her alive. However, Jesus and Lafayette manage to break the bond between Marnie and Antonia just in time and save Sookie. Bill and Eric confront Marnie and kill her with a shot in the head.("Soul of Fire")

With Marnie dead, the situation seems calm again and Sookie begins to be confused because of her mixed feelings for both vampires. The situation is more stressed when Alcide confesses his love for her after he breaks up with Debbie and reminds her that she would never be happy around Bill or Eric.

However, on Halloween night, Tara informs Sookie and Holly that Marnie now inhabits Lafayette's body and that she has killed Jesus. Worried about the safety of Bill and Eric, Sookie and her friends go to Bill's mansion where they see both vampires about to be burned at the stake. They confront Lafayette/Marnie, who sets a fire around Bill and Eric using the power of the demon who was inside of Jesus. Sookie fairy-light-hands Marnie and knocks her down while the three girls join hands and start to recite a spell that call up the dead of Bon Temps to help. Sookie is touched when she sees her Grams again and with the help of Adele and Antonia, Marnie is defeated and leaves Lafayette's body, crossing to the light. Sookie pleads with her Grams to stay, but Adele tells Sookie that she can't and advises her about her problem with the two vampires. So to help the two vampires, she holds her arms out, and she allows Eric and Bill to feed off her arms.

Brokenhearted, Sookie returns to her home only to be confronted by Debbie Pelt with a shotgun. Debbie blames Sookie for all her problems with Alcide and tries to kill her once and for all, but just as she shoots, Tara comes in and pushes Sookie to save her life, getting shot in the head and causing her brain to spread throughout the room. Tara lay on the floor and then Sookie, shocked and in anger by the death of her best friend, knocks out Debbie and the two start to fight on the floor, ending in Sookie having the upper hand. Sookie takes the shotgun and points Debbie on the head, who pleads for her life, but Sookie shoots and kills Debbie instantaneously.

Sookie then returns to where Tara was and takes her in her arms, yelling and screaming for someone to help.("And When I Die")

Season 5Edit

Sookie digs a grave in her back yard
QueenBuffyAdded by QueenBuffy

Sookie and an Lafayette, after Debbie's death and Tara's gunshot wound, are digging what looks like a grave in her backyard. It is unknown who are they burying Tara or Debbie Pelt? They dig a mighty obvious hole in the ground, not really conducive to concealing the fact that Sookie killed someone, so it could be that they’re burying Tara. Possibly in a temporary grave so she can rise again as a vampire(?) Sookie’s having a rough day. The shot of her huddled in the shower isn’t anchored in context, but it seems reasonable to assume that it’s after she buried whoever in the backyard. She was covered in her best friend’s blood, and the blood of the woman she killed, so a long, hot shower is definitely needed. As are her tears.

Powers and abilities Edit

SookiePowers1.gif

Sookie has been shown to have several powers in the show. The exact nature of all of her powers hasn't yet been shown. Her first power is telepathy which includes the ability to hear thoughts and read people's minds. She has had this power her entire life, and it often led her to become an outcast in her youth until she learned to gradually control it. ("Strange Love") So far, it's been explained that her grandfather, Earl, had the same ability.

Her second ability is photokinesis which is the ability to generate, wield or control energies with her mind. It manifests itself as a powerful bright light of color emanating from her hands. The exact nature of this power is unknown with even Sookie being surprised by it. She uses this power for the first time against Maryann, ("New World in My View") then again on her offering, knocking it down in the second season. ("Beyond Here Lies Nothin'")

In the third season, she uses this on the werewolf Cooter and utilizes her power to blast him away from her. ("Trouble")

In the last episode of the third season (Evil is Going On), Russell Edgington, while handcuffed to Eric in the sunlight demands her to free him and take him back inside, he realizes that for Sookie to use her Photokinesis she has to get angry so threatens to kill everyone she cares about. thus her amount of anger releases her power as a now blast of sunlight like light, similar to Claudine and the other Fairies, she then also uses it like Telekinesis by sending Russell flying into a wall.

In the latter half of Season 4, her powers advance, and she is shown able to remove spells and curses- her first being the removal of the memory spell on Eric. Later, when held hostage in Marnie's Magic Shop, she is able to destroy both the shield surrounding the shop and the suicide spell on the vampires outside it by spreading her power along the circle of witches.

Her Photokinesis is possibly not as strong as full fairies as in "She's Not There", her power is strong enough to hurt Queen Mab, and destroy the tree of the Lumiere fruit, it doesn't however kill the other fairies, as the full ones demonstrate how being hit with the fairy blast vaporizes them instantly. It could be that her powers need more time to grow and progress, which as a human may have actually happened now as she has technically aged a human year. Also all the other fairy/human hybrid ran terrified when the fairies became ugly (Goblin-esque), and none of them seemed to be able to use photokinesis and seemed surprised when she did, so maybe all the vampire blood, anger and stress she has had to deal with awakened her full powers.

"I don't know how you did things in the 1800s, but keeping a file on the woman you love is... creepy."

"If you all don't stop arguing i'm either going to fall asleep or start screaming, so this is what we're going to do."

ReferencesEdit

  1. IT SHOULD BE NOTED: Though Claudine is a character in the Sookie Stackhouse novels, she and the fairy world are introduced and seem to operate very differently than the TV series fairies. In addition, though the TV series seems to be implying that fairies can read minds and that Sookie inherited telepathy via her fairy blood, the book series makes very clear that telepathy is NOT a normal fairy trait and that Sookie acquired her "gift" from another supernatural source. Sookie's (and Jason's) attractiveness to the opposite sex and particularly "supes," as well as Sookie's affinity for sunlight ARE traits she inherited from her fairy lineage.
