Origin?[]

Do we know where Dieter is originally from? He has a sort of German or Austiran accent. — Bryan Landry (talk) 00:00, June 21, 2012 (UTC)

Death[]

Am I the only one mad about the Death of this guy? He was probably one of the oldest vampires after Russel and he still gets killed as insignificantly as that? I'm really outraged. Killed by a slap..why would Russel be able to kill him that easily being only 700 hundred years older. Does this mean he could do the same to Godric? Pfff It's really eating me up. Poor directing of the show.

Dieter's age has been revealed as 239 years old on the True Blood season 5 dvd/blu-ray, shocking I know. I am waiting for response from the admin to edit his biography.

Do you know if Dieter's 239 years was only his vampire years or included his human years? Nameless Wikia contributer (talk) 09:30, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Why do people keep changing the information on this page (as well as others), it is not official information. I give up editing on this wiki!

Age issues[]

The information about his age is confusing. The infobox says he's 1,978 years old and died in 2009, which would put his dob in the year 31 AD. However, Dieter claims to know the person who wrote the Vampire Bible, which puts him at over 2,000 years old. The infobox also says he was born in 1770, and that makes him 239 years old. Is there anything official out there? I read that the 239 age is supposedly official, but it doesn't jive with the statements Dieter himself made about knowing the writer's state of mind when the book was written. When he said he knew the guy who wrote it that meant he simply knew him and that he wasn't there during the time he wrote it 2,000 years ago. Since he said he was high the whole time that suggest by time he met hi m he was some kind of vampire junky. --Anamantiumninja (talk) 03:18, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

Ah, okay. That makes more sense. AlessaGillespie Talk Contributions
