Theodore Newlin was the reverend of the Fellowship of the Sun church outside of Dallas, Texas. One of the leading opponents of vampire rights, he was constantly seen on network television pushing an anti-vampire agenda when he refused to have a dialogue with AVL spokeswoman Nan Flanagan. Along with his wife and baby, the Reverend supposedly died in a car accident in mid-2008. His son Steve continued with his anti-vampire crusade.
It is later revealed by the Dallas vampire Stan Davis that he and other agitated vampires under his command were responsible for the deaths of Newlin, his wife, and their baby daughter.
