Gear up for battle Truebies, because it's Team Witch or Team Vampire all the way! After Antonia fully took over Marnie's body, she recruited Tara, Holly and other vampire haters to her impromptu coven to make the vampires meet the sun. Luckily, King Bill was prepared for this, commanding every vampire he knew to chain themselves with silver to prevent the spell.
Amidst the chaos and the fear, Eric and Sookie continue their blissful "union" well into the house and beyond. After their marathon session, Eric finally asks the million dollar question: Does Sookie really want him to regain his memories? Although Sookie says yes, Eric seems less certain; uncertain that Sookie would want him once he becomes his cocky, arrogant self.
This raises a whole new crop of questions for us fans. Is True Blood "cheating"? After seasons of clamoring for Eric and Sookie to get together, we finally get our wish; but it's not the same Eric we knew and loved. Sure, this Eric is loveable and sweet but he's not...Eric Northman, the Viking Vampire God.
Aside from Eric/Sookie storyline, Cold Grey Light of Dawn was quite a Jess-centric episode, from her sweet father-daughter bonding time with Bill, to meeting the sun after breaking free of her chains! Will Jason manage to save her from burning in the sun? Can True Blood get rid of one of the most loveable and fierce characters on the show!? We fans @TrueBloodWiki started a #SaveJessicaHamby just in case!
In other news, we finally saw some lukewarm werewolf sex between Alcide and Debbie...Alcide's reaction upon seeing Sookie and Eric together to Debbie's reaction at Alcide's reaction...priceless. As a parting thought, does anyone else think Lafayette just might be the answer to the vampires's prayers? Maybe he could be a powerful enough medium to counter Marnie/Antonia!
