Dear fellow blogsters,
although I was looking for some background info about it, I did not find anything about the differences between vampires from the books and series alike.
Do the books feature how a True Death occurs? There seem to be major differences regarding the scope vampires' healing abilities. I did not read them and since I watched the show I would not draw as much enjoyment from them I guess and therefore I hope some of you come forward with some details.
One example: The Texas king is wounded and his wound will take 10 years to heal. The Louisiana Queen lost her legs.
I thought vampires regenerate them by consumption of blood. Nothing similar has been displayed in True Blood, and I guess it would not be cheap to produce such a scene.
