This is something I always wandered about, the fascination with these immortal beings? I don't know why I like them, I guess their portrayal resonates within me as human being, I am thinking about Anne Rice more now. But please share with me your thoughts. Do you only like True Blood, or maybe Charlaine Harris' novel series? What do you think of contemporary vampire show competitors like Vampire Diaries or Twilight?

There has been a lot of more stuff. Kindred is based on a game with an elaborated background story of vampires. Forever Knight also went as police drama and featured Nigel Bennett as a very impressive villaineous character, as the master(maker) of the series protagonist.
