Welcome Edit

Hi Niklaus. I have to be honest, the welcome messages are actually automated. Everyone receives one when they make their first edit. But still, a very warm welcome to the wiki! I'm glad you want to help, because there's plenty to do! This is our "calm period", where we refine all the information we have documented from season 4. If you are serious about helping out then the season 4 episode pages would be a great place to start. Most of them need tweaking, some more than others. We are also trying to stay up to date on the casting anouncements for season 5. I've created a few of the new charcater articles, but there are a few more to do, if you're interested. Apart from that just hit the "random article" button until you find something that needs fixing. Have fun, and don't hesitate to let me know if you need any help! Well, I get up at 5:00 AM (UK Time) to watch the episodes an hour after they air in the states, and they've always been there straight away. Why, are you having trouble finding one? Also, still waiting on those contributions... Jayden Matthews 07:25, July 7, 2012 (UTC)

Generally speaking they are always there immediately after the episode airs. I guess someone with HBO GO posts them. I really shouldn't need to tell you what to do. I'm not "in-charge" and the articles are free for anyone to edit. Basically when the new episode airs everything from it needs to be updated; episode synopsis, character bios etc. It's pretty much first come first serve, and seeing as we have very few active contributors you shouldn't have any problem fining something to do. Blogs Edit

Part of my job as administrator is to keep the site tidy by deleting duplicate blogs. Strictly speaking only admins should create episode discussion blogs, and seeing as we already had one about last weeks episdoe I deleted yours, as you created it after Jairo wrote his. The other blog I deleted was fairly obsolete, and the only comment it had attracted was unintelligible gibberish. Jayden Matthews 16:06, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

You need to make sure to add categories to images you upload. Also rename the file. Like "Warlow Image" not the "Tumblr" one it is. 03:20, August 28, 2012 (UTC)

Blogs Edit

Hi Tommy, thanks for getting in touch. As you can probably tell, the wiki is currently in a state of major transition. As such, we've temporarily disabled all blogs in order to keep the recent changes page as free as possible. If you have any free time in the next few weeks, we'd greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

Also, can you please make sure that any new articles you write are properly formatted? You've been here long enough to know what a True Blood Wiki article should look like, so this simply isn't good enough. Please attend to it as soon as possible.

Macklyn/Warlow Edit

I think it would strain credulity to even suggest that they're separate characters. This is just one of those rare occasions where the truth is so painfully obvious that it doesn't make sense for us to have two articles on Macklyn and Warlow, when we'll just end up having to merge them anyway. The basic rule of thumb is that if people don't want to be spoiled they shouldn't come here, so yeah, go for it as long as it's from a verifiable source.
