Vince Gibson is a rabid anti-vampire vigilante on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by American guest starring actor Brett Rickaby, Vince makes his debut on the episode "Jesus Gonna Be Here", at the beginning of the series' seventh season. Burly, and in his 40s, Vince is one of the primary antagonists in the series' seventh, and final, season. Playing a recurring role through the same season, Vince meets an untimely demise in the Season 7 episode "Death is Not the End".
Vince is a natural organizer and has a talent for rallying his peers against what they perceive to be a threat. He is shown to be bigoted and intolerant toward supernaturals, particularly vampires. When Bon Temps is threatened by Hep-V vampires, he uses the fear gripping the town to rally a mob of vigilantes. He and his group soon demonstrate that they have no tolerance for any species but their own and embark on a campaign of extermination that costs at least two innocent lives.
Prior to Season 7, Vince ran for mayor against Sam Merlotte and lost. He appears to be bitter over the defeat.
After the attack at Bellefleur's, Vince witnesses Sam change from his dog form and accuses him of dishonesty. ("Jesus Gonna Be Here")
He begins to stir up anti-Supernatural hate in town, eventually leading to the formation of a mob. ("I Found You")
